Smokey Gchachu (pronounced "Jaw Chew") was born at Zuni Pueblo in 1956. He creates original hand-crafted jewelry, working in both sterling silver and gold.

He has been practicing his art since the age of fourteen, having learned from his mother.

All of his work is entirely hand-crafted using the finest materials. He utilizes a great variety of natural materials including turquoise, coral, jade, spectralite and a variety of shells to create his incredible jewelry.
